This release from independent bottler & blender Buzzard's Roost begins with a 4 year-old double-barreled bourbon (mash bill 59% corn, 36% rye, 5% malted barley) from Indiana's MGP distillery. It was then finished in a lightly charred (char #1) oak barrel before bottling at 105 proof.
There were 250 cases produced initially with a larger bottling to follow. Launched in July 2022, this bourbon is one of two bottlings released to celebrate the brand's 3rd anniversary.

Tasting Notes
"The whiskey gives off aromas of buttery caramel, red apple, candied cherries, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. The rich, weighty, yet balanced palate is a mix of more of that toffee-like quality in the nose along with tart fruit. A hint of blood orange carries into the lingering finish. "
