CAMUS XO Borderies Single Estate

Nose: Crème Brûlée, fresh red fruits, light oak and nut notes, camphor, and some spicy elements I can’t really decipher. Palate: Somewhat rich and velvety with fresh and dried fruits, oak and barrel spices. Finish: Lasting with hints of vanilla, licorice and spices. I was surprised by how fresh this feels for an XO. Very sweet and a long fine aftertaste. Lovely. Will buy again if not to expensive

NOSE: Surprisingly hot for a cognac. It’s sweet candied orange peel and burnt caramel, somewhat fresh for an XO. Hints of vanilla but heavy on dry oak. PALATE: Sweet creme brule, sweet pineapple juice, mint chocolate, spicy candied ginger, nice simmering peppermint finish.
