Cardhu Gold Reserve (Game of Thrones-House Targaryen)

Nose - Smells like a certain soda, almost like sprite or ginger ale? Smells like a cheap lemon zest. Palate - Peaty, floral, peachy. Some bitter dark barrel taste and minor apricot Finish - Hints of white pepper and cinnamon. Subtle, nice on the way down.

Bought on the whim after a trip to the bar. This thing smells more like a tequila than a scotch, the taste is so savory, nuttyz fruity, sweet. How is there not agave in this!? a real guest pleaser.

Dark woody aroma. Light sweetness but predominantly oak. Very nice. Intricate aged taste, rich wood and mild spice, caramel vanilla sweetness. Body and flavor are balanced perfectly, long tingly tail. Well done.
