Casamigos Cristalino Tequila
Tequila Reposado
Casamigos // Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Casamigos Cristalino begins with their reposado tequila as its base. Like the other tequilas in their portfolio, it's made with 100% blue Weber agave sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco. After resting in American white oak barrels it's then charcoal filtered to remove its color.
Casamigos Cristalino launched nationwide in summer 2023 and is sold in the following bottle sizes: 375ml ($31.99), 750ml ($60.99), and 1L ($73.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is a little dull/muted, but there's sweet milk chocolate notes, light clay notes, and gentle barrel spices to be found. The palate is full and water-like with more milk chocolate, lime pith, mint and a moderate amount of sweet agave. Vanilla is an underlying note throughout. Further nosings brings gentle dried herbs and a note of copper as well. There's a slickness on the finish. Would suggest to use in a cocktail with bubbles or after dinner if you want something a bit sweet — serve on the rocks."
