RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The flavor is surprisingly warm and grapey, almost like an Armagnac. However, the cereal funk and spiciness on the finish reveals its true rye nature. It's a bit thin, and runs hot, which is a sure sign its barrels were small and its nap time was short. If you're a fan of lighter ryes, you'll like it. But if you want something bigger and richer, this may not be for you."
