I've had this on a shelf since before the pandemic hit and decided to finally crack it open. It's a surprisingly smooth and tasty flavored whiskey.
On the nose: honey, brown sugar, dried hay, dried leaves, subtle smoke.
On the palate: mellow honey and subtle sweetness, light brown sugar, baking spices.
For the finish: mellow and dry, caramel candy, very subtle honey, burnt toast, and earthy-dusty notes that remind me of Lagavulin.
I'm not sure I would go seek this out (nor any flavored whiskey for that matter) but it was an interesting taste and am glad to have it on the shelf. 🍻
