Celosa Rose Tequila
Tequila Joven
Celosa Tequila // Mexico
Celosa Rose Tequila is a 100% blue weber agave joven tequila. The brand uses 7 year-old agaves grown in a single estate distillery, Hacienda La Capilla in the Highlands of Jalisco. The agaves are cooked for 8 hours in an autoclave and then crushed.
After fermentation, the juice is distilled twice and then rested in used French oak barrels which previously held Napa Valley red wine (pinot noir & cabernet sauvignon). There are no additives used. It's available in select US markets as of April 2023.

Tasting Notes
"The intensity of the aroma is dialed down, but there are gentle notes of berries, lemon and mild green herbaceous notes as well as a little toasted oak and warm spices. The tequila is soft on the palate and flavors again lean into the light berries and gentle agave sweetness. Finish has a light peppery agave bite. Pleasant and delicate overall. Would serve on the rocks with a slice of lemon. "
