An Extra Anejo Agave Spirit from Don Fulano NOM 1146, in Mexico which has been matured in French oak casks for a minimum of 3 years before it is bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, earth, wood, herbs & spices; while a rich & herbal life adds notes of caramel; that led to a long & complex death.

Very dark aroma of tequila soaked woodstave, offset with brighter high notes of agave. Upon tasting, there is a burst of oak forward characteristics: caramel, char, toffee, light roasted coffee bean, and a hint of cocoa. The body is medium, with a somewhat sharper entry than the añejo. Finish goes on and on, with a very wood forward, yet sweet fade. A contemplative tequila that pushes the boundaries of aging.
