The nose is pretty plain but with a bit of nice like and sweet light brown sugar nectar. This is really sweet but really good tequila. It's oily and viscous. There's a bunch of butterscotch sweetness that is backed by some tropic fruit and some bitter lime to balance it out. Black pepper eventually comes out and burns in a nice way. This is damn fine tequila, though it only appelas of you like sweetness. There really isnt any smoke. There's kind of a nectar honey element too. There's a little hint of mint. This is what I always imagined tequila tasting like. This is a rich and hedonistic tequila that is still interesting and complex enough.

A superb Plata... my favorite... yes, has some big but natural agave sweetness... not to everyone's taste... but ultra smooth, great and subtle agave flavors, very nice bottle... total enjoyment. Price is on the high side... but IMO, worth every penny. I recommend El Tesoro Blanco for those who prefer a less sweet blanco.

Absolutely horrid. Like a mouthful of good and plenty. If this seems like a good tequila, you have more tasting to do.
