My wife and I have taken a number of years to build our selection of tequilas, very carefully researching as we go. Clase Azul Plata has been on the wish list for a while, but with a $70+ price point, we delayed the purchase. Last evening, we bought our first bottle and, not so surprisingly, enjoyed each sip. This is a sweet tequila, but that sucre is balanced by an almost off the charts flavor profile. Already huge fans of Clase Azul Reposado, we assumed their Plata would be very good too; little did we know it is beyond good, Clase Azul Plata is a tastebud sensation in a class all by itself- only to be sipped- never for mixing. Liquid gold my friend, liquid gold!!! Agave wine at its best.
