Trying to kill a 2 hour wait here at the Denver airport, so I figured what better way then to try something new. I was scanning for a Stranahan Sherry cask, but couldn’t find it, so was going to settle for a Knob Creek rye. The bartender instead suggested this...classic up sell. She figures’s business traveler ...let’s get a bit more tip. But, I gotta say...she wasn’t wrong in suggesting this. Sure, it’s $10 more than the Knob Creek, but I’m guessing a whole other playing field. My god this is good. Ignore that pretty ceramic bottle ,the juice inside is excellent. I love the nose on this. All dulce de leche. Taste is crisp green apples coated with caramel. Jesus this is good. Type of tequila that’ll make a scotch drinker switch sides. Up sell or not...it’s a damn good tequila
