Clément Canne Bleue Rhum Blanc Agricole
Rhum Agricole Blanc
Rhum Clément // Caribbean, Martinique
Clément Canne Bleue Rhum Blanc Agricole is made from one varietal of sugarcane -- blue sugarcane. After pressing and fermentation, it is distilled once. The resulting distillate rests for just over six months in a stainless steel vat. Distilled volcanic spring water is slowly added to bring the product to 50% ABV before bottling.
Rhum Agricole BlancRhum distilled from fresh sugarcane juice. Has either been left alone to rest for 3 months, or if aged in oak, must not exceed 3 months in barrel. In Martinique, must be bottled between 80-110 proof.
"Sweet smells of freshly-cut cane and mowed grass at first yields to hints of citrus flowers and tropical fruit. On the palate, lots more ripe and overripe tropical fruit - lush and sweet, and slightly peppery. Intense, sapid and barely sweet. Beautifully distilled and at 100 proof, surprisingly easy to drink."
