Nose: sweet oak, caramel, cherry pie
Taste: much of the same plus same plus loads of vanilla. Nice mouthfeel
Finish: medium, some rye spice shows up, more cherry vanilla
A classic bourbon that nails many of the sweet notes I look for. Not overly complex but a delight to sip
Nose is toasted oak, vanilla, rye, and a tinge of honey. Oily with fast running, spindles for legs. Palate introduces toffee, the finish is extradonairy with a lingering effect that almost outstays its welcome, the note being highly spiced rye.
Now that I’ve seen it mentioned, I do get Red Hots in the finish.
Pepper, sweet, grain. Very smooth. Nice and warm. I really like this. It's not one of those that tastes vastly different but it's really balanced and good. Caramel finish.
