Colorado Gold Straight Bourbon

Nose: brown sugar, molasses, pine sap, stone fruit, Taste: wood tannins, baking spices, uninteresting. Finish: medium length and tart This was a tasting of barrel 87.

Good aromas of honey, fruit, slight caramel. Lots of butterscotch and slight heat with spice on the finish. Great refinement for a 90 proof entry level bottle. Found it on clearance at a local shop and figured I’d take a shop. Incredibly glad I did!

Mediocre. Rubbing alcohol taste, but a bit of sweetness on the end

This is a really good bourbon. I picked up a bottle for $15, which is an incredible deal.
