First fill ex-bourbon, first fill European oak Sherry butts, and new heavily toasted French oak are all employed in the aging of this blend.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is filled with scents of homemade apple pie--the buttery crust, spiced apples, and even the side of vanilla ice cream comes to light. The palate follows suit with some oak spices and a touch of citrus for added measure. The whisky has a creaminess to it, but finishes on the spicy side, and is far from sticky sweet. "
