Compass Box Spice Tree

The nose is very subtle with sweet and fruity notes. The palette is warm and oily with just a hint of char. The finish is slightly bitter and woody with a bit of fire going down into the belly.

Really interesting scotch. Not where I’d go if you’re looking for a traditional scotch profile but that’s not the point. Opened my eyes to what blended malts can be

Just a little spicy, but that spice builds nicely as the finish lingers

Aromas are strawberry Starburst. Flavors lead with tart apple and turn to wooden vanilla in the middle to finish long with various spices.
