Compass Box Spice Tree

3.5 stars. A slightly smokey, non-peaty speyside with plenty of spice. My only real issue is the $74 price point. Better whisky can be had for less $$$.

Odd dram. Smells wonderful; fruit and spice on the nose. Taste like nothing at first, then a tiny bit of fruit followed by a lot of spice. Fairly hot. Very enjoyable, just not what I'm used to.
