Connemara 12 Year Peated Single Malt

Lightly peated. I get subtle honey some spice and vanilla flavors. A simple light ez sipping Irish single malt.

This is so incredibly smooth, I put this among my favorites. It’s not as Smokey as other peated Irish whiskeys I highly recommend this as a higher end bottle. Enjoy.

My first peated Irish whiskey. As soon as I opened the bottle, it was evident the peat was present, but not like it’s present in Ardbeg, the peat is a little subdue. The flavor was a little sweet like pears with lime and orange, but the peat was long lasting. Minutes after the drink ended, there was remnants of the peat in my palate. One draw back was the lower ABV of 40%. I wonder how this would be at 46 or 49.
