Coyota Destilado De Agave Pedrosana Extra Añejo

Tried neat. On the nose it smells like dessert with notes of strawberies and cream, caramel, apricot, dates, vanilla cake, frosting. On the palate its wayyy different than on the nose. Its earthy with the notes of pepper, mint, grass. Thanks @Looneyhead

Toast, vegetal agave, herbs and grass, sandalwood, black pepper, apple, caramel, coffee, vanilla, strawberries and cream, mint and wood nose. Surprisingly green for 6 years, the elements that tend to lend richness and sweetness show well, but are relatively subdued by comparison. On the palate it’s sweet and spicy. Flavors of agave, pepper, vanilla, mint, grass and caramel, with a long peppery green finish. A lively extra añejo tequila (if it could be labeled such, being from outside the “tequila” states), with loads of character and complexity for a 6 year old agave spirit; it still retains many of the characteristics from its youth, which are usually long subdued by this point. All in all a really nice find, merging the qualities of a moderately sweet añejo with those of a spicy and green joven.
