Dalwhinnie 15 Year

Sweet vanilla aroma with a light floral roundness. I had this following a spicy steak dinner. I initially tasted this before dinner and went to finish it after dinner 15-20 minutes later. Oh my god did the spice intensify! Way to high to finish it. I doubt that I will add this to my collection.

Minimal nose. Sweet honey and slight peat smoke. Easy and enjoyable. Simple but great flavors. Similar to Ardbeg 10 but no nose Hilton Head

Nez : vanille, poire, pomme verte, pomme rouge, oakiness, légèrement terreux avec une touche florale, épicé Palais : léger tanin le rendant âpre et légèrement amer, poire, pomme, pomme, légèrement fumé et une touche de sel La finale est chaude profonde et salée avec un touche de pomme Un whisky appréciable et équilibré mais qui manque peut-être un peu de rondeur et qui fait plus jeune que son âge 84/100
