Dalwhinnie 15 Year

Nose: Sweet and perfumey apple juice, floral heather, honey and light vanilla yogurt, light peat coming across as a briny green olive note, a light whiff of smoke, fruity and succulent malt, moss and old hay, uncooked plain ramen, over ripe Bartlett pears, white chocolate filled with pear creme, light sweet oak with some nutmeg and savoury ginger, light hint of spring walnuts, a touch of sangria (apples with candied orange and pineapple), recently stained lumber, wet tree bark, herb smoked applesauce, butter toffee, ripe red apples, light butterscotch, blue cheese wax, fresh cilantro, a hint of mixed red and white cranberries Palate: Honeyed apple juice, heathery vanilla, light earthy pettiness, ripe green apples, sweet buttermilk, toffee, caramel, rounded and honeyed barley sugars, over ripe white grapefruit, blend of sweet oak and slightly bitter oak tannins, white pepper, confectionary pears and an elegant spring floral note, rich and dense orchard fruit sweetness Finish: Fresh sweet medley of medium ripe apples, white pepper, heather and fresh floral oregano, white chocolate and honey fondue, sweet oak spice in the far background, perfumey pears, candied fruit and barley sugar, yellow candy apple, mixed apple skins, a whiff of earthy smoke

Smooth whiskey. Fairly easy drinking. Got some good smoke but not overpowering the palate.

Currently my favourite and go to..always have a bottle in the cupboard…sooo smooth
