i just didnt like it

It's pretty good. It's 50%, but doesn't have a dreadfully alcohol-y taste.

Pleasant. Not much of a nose, sweetness covers your tongue, after the swallow comes a quick series of bitter oak, orange peel then pepper. There is nothing after that...flat, plain and yet I try it again, and again.

I continue to be impressed with this bourbon. I tasted this against Haverhill Rabbit hole and New Riff, bottle and bonded. This was number two, very close to the rabbit hole. This was a little less sweeter and had a less complex flavor profile but the price point can’t be beat!

N: malty, wood, cardboard, little sweetness P: thin, not overly complex, malty, spice F: very short O: not very remarkable
