This style of gin takes a neutral spirit and then adds juniper berries and other natural flavorings before it is re-distilled. After distillation, additional flavors (artificial or natural) and sweeteners may be added.

Tasting Notes

"The list of botanicals in Death's Door Gin is pared back to only three: juniper, coriander, and fennel. They manage to construct a surprisingly complex gin from so few raw materials. The fragrance is soft and slightly floral, while the juniper on the palate is balanced by the licorice-like notes of fennel that soften the spirit. It's a gin that would likely do well in cocktails, but is sufficiently easy drinking to enjoy on ice with a twist of lemon."
