Intense sweet, almond, cherry and apricot.

A rich nut liqueur by the Reina family in Saronna, Italy. It has an aromatic birth with notes of nuts, fruits, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of cherry, apricot & almond; that led to a long & silky death. May 1992

On the nose, there are prominent aromas of almonds, caramel and walnuts, still some alcohol as well, quite pleasant. On the palette it is wonderful. It is extremely sweet, maybe at times too much so, being rich, chewy, with an oily, viscuous texture. It has dominant notes of walnuts, almonds and marzipan, maybe with some vanilla and caramel to it as well. There is also some alcohol which is a bit unexpected for this alcohol percentage. The finish is quite long, according to the oily texture, warm, and walnutty, maybe with some vanilla still. I do recommend it, very savoury, but again, very sweet.
