This one has a somewhat funky nose for a tequila - almost a bit of a raicilla essence. Raisin, licorice, hint of cheese, hint of Belgian dark ale. On the palate there's some licorice, brine, clove, cola. Some similar flavors to the blanco, but a little fruitier and more subdued. Finish has some wintergreen and ethanol, some pepper. Compared to the blanco, I thought the nose was the biggest difference, but I think I preferred the blanco on that aspect... so while I enjoy this, I would recommend the (cheaper) blanco over it.
