Slow to high note with little burn. Priced above Clase Azul with less. Needs more orange with French barrel for softer end feel. Good but not great. Emotionally blah.
Better than most. Unoffensive reposado with light wood and caramel flavors and a slight touch of sweet. But nothing that was particularly memorable or exciting in the moment. A nice sipper whose flavors get completely lost in a cocktail.
The orange is apparent on the on the nose and taste immediately. A nice roasted vanilla and agave are present as well with subtle oak. It’s tasty but I’m not sure it justifies the price but it is a top tier tequila
Aromas are agave but slightly grapey. A bit of citrus too flavors start with smoke and then some sweetness I was missing in the aroma. Pepper and some oakiness finish things off.
