This Extra Añejo ages for 3 years in American white oak before it finishes an additional 4 months in French Limousin oak.

Tequila Extra AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least 3 years in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Extra Añejo tequilas are also known as "ultra aged".

"Loads of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg,and allspice wash over the tongue, mixing with cocoa flavors, much like a distillate form of Mexican hot cocoa. Herbal notes of rosemary and sweet mint begin to peek out, and allow the inherent flavors of the agave to come through the richness. "
