Reviewed December 8, 2024A complex, Agave Spirit by Cassa Don Roberto [NOM1437] in Jalisco, Mexico. It is aged for a minimum of 2 months in oak barrels before being transferred to 220L used French Chardonnay Barrels for additional aging before being bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of cooked agave, wood, earth & spice; while a complex life adds notes of oak & vanilla; that led to a long death. July 2023 -

Reviewed November 10, 2023So smooth. I was hesitant to spend 45$ on it, but id absolutely do it again and again. It doesn’t even taste like alcohol. It just tastes like agave and oak. Very good. Better than don julio anejo46.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed January 20, 2023Oak dominated nose, with vanilla, Chardonnay barrel, pepper, pear, a little smoke, and agave. On the palate quite peppery and a little sweet with vanilla, agave, a little dry tart wine, oak and pear. Lingering spicy finish. Overall a bit harsh, but not bad.36.99 USD per Bottle
