Maybe this was wasted on a jaded palate as I wrapped up my tasting round with this for desert. It was nice but I preferred the bourbons and the cladich. It is deep rich with an old wood type flavour.

Dried fruits on the nose, hints of tobacco on the smooth but slightly dry finish, this is a full bodied and sumptuous cognac that is a fixture on my shelf. Bottle’s not bad, either.
