Eagle Rare 17 Year Bourbon (Fall 2013)

N- tobacco- cinnamon- light fruit - pepper P. - oak- pepper / heat - dried fruit - F- chewy- pepper - warmth lingers - vanilla & nuts- light fruit

Hits with consistent heat through the palate which I like. Spice, leather, cherries notes. Easy finish. Very good bourbon but this bottle labeled Spring 2013 not worth price tag to me. My scale: 1 - I’m giving this drink away 2 - I’ll mix it, but doesn’t stand on its own 3 - Enjoyable, but I’m willing to try something new 4 - Very good, If it’s on the shelf or menu - I’m buying 5 - Greatness Achieved, this drink is worthy of collecting
