El Ateo Añejo

Very smooth tequila. Like to sip this neat. Feel like you can really tell the difference between the tahana method and the modern methods. Compares favorably to the Carmesi anejo.

Very good additive free tequila, clean and aromatic, although for Añejo it seemed to lack depth and complexity.

Nom1635 A n elegant, additive free, Agave Spirit, by the Villalobos family aged in American white oak barrels. It has an aromatic birth with notes of cooked agave, wood, red & stone fruits, herbs & spices; while a rich & full life adds notes of cherry, pear, caramel & vanilla; that led to a slightly woody death of medium length with notes of oak (hint of tongue depressor), black pepper & sea spray.
