Nose: Carmel & Butterscotch Palate: Charred Oak, Spicy Finish: Hot, Red Hots & Long

Good flavor finish is flat but still really enjoy it

This is my first barrel proof bourbon, and it definitely won’t be my last. This has an oak/vanilla nose, with a heavy vanilla flavor up front, followed with a spicy, smoky, and almost tobacco flavor. The tobacco flavor fades slower than the rest. I imagine this would pair well with a good cigar, or a rare steak. I’ll be back for more soon.

Its that time of the year. Lower proof. Full and heavy bodied bourbon with notes of oak and char. However, this is not as flavorful as my favorite from last year B520. Nevertheless, if you are a fan of barrel proofs, I'd snag one in a heartbeat
