Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch A124

Nose: caramel and wood. Has a tangy thing on the nose. Maybe its earthy or mossy. Almost clay like. Minerally. Later a little nuttiness Body: medium to full. Palate: woody, a little orange, second sip was more fruity like a green grape. Finish: long, left a little fire burning in my throat. Not bad but a little hot on the first sip. Note: cracked in preparation for whiskey night. Its has a nice dark color. First impression is this is ok. Not my favorite of the ECBPs buuuuut interesting. The finish was long but not smoky like i really enjoy, it was more like wet wood, but there is an interesting flavor on the palate almost grape like. Its interesting. Its growing on me.

Pretty bold flavor, but definately not as good as C923

Luxardo cherry and subtle leather. Viscous. Spice notes.
