Nose: caramel and wood. Has a tangy thing on the nose. Maybe its earthy or mossy. Almost clay like. Minerally. Later a little nuttiness
Body: medium to full.
Palate: woody, a little orange, second sip was more fruity like a green grape.
Finish: long, left a little fire burning in my throat. Not bad but a little hot on the first sip.
Note: cracked in preparation for whiskey night. Its has a nice dark color. First impression is this is ok. Not my favorite of the ECBPs buuuuut interesting. The finish was long but not smoky like i really enjoy, it was more like wet wood, but there is an interesting flavor on the palate almost grape like. Its interesting. Its growing on me.
