Hot, cinnamon, vanilla, pepper

Nose: full of ethanol but past that there is dark chocolate, vanilla and a definite oak presence Palate: Acidity and tart but in a good way. Small sip: Lemon up front, then reveals dark chocolate and a touch of oak like a hot toddy. Full sip reveals all the rich, chocolate flavors. Spice rounds it out to be a tiramisu Finish: medium to long with tannins from the oak. Oak is there but not overdone. Pretty balanced

Bold and unique with heat. Black tea and cloves on the nose. Lemon iced tea on the palate. Not sweet but good.

Note to self: don't compare other bourbons to this, you'll be disappointed.
