Nose: full of ethanol but past that there is dark chocolate, vanilla and a definite oak presence
Palate: Acidity and tart but in a good way. Small sip: Lemon up front, then reveals dark chocolate and a touch of oak like a hot toddy. Full sip reveals all the rich, chocolate flavors. Spice rounds it out to be a tiramisu
Finish: medium to long with tannins from the oak. Oak is there but not overdone. Pretty balanced
