Ella Jones Straight Bourbon
Ella Jones is a straight bourbon made by The Family Jones. The Denver distillery uses all-Colorado grains, with a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye and 10% malted barley.
The pot distilled bourbon is bottled at 94 proof and aged for approximately three years in full-size charred (char #3) new American oak. Released in May 2020, this is their first self-distilled bourbon.

Tasting Notes
"The nose offers a sweet note first, with crème brûlée, along with toffee and peanuts. The palate is dry, with cloves and cinnamon, moving to pine needles, doughy par-baked bread, and a touch of tart cherries. The finish is short, and showcases maple syrup, spearmint and barrel char, along with leather and tannic oak."
