Espíritu Lauro Añejo Mezcal

Medium smoke on the nose with charred wood, vanilla icing, citrus peel, green pepper, agave, and herbs. Herbal, vegetal, rich, and sweet on the palate; caramel, char, smoke, vanilla, agave, stone fruit, lactose and a touch of black pepper. Very smooth, though there’s a bit of spice to the cake-like finish.

Surprisingly not smooth for being ahead. Sharp on the tongue.
