Evan Williams Black Label

Nose: sweet, mild oak, mild fruitiness, vanilla Palate: spicy, sweet, mild oak, a little bit of vanilla Finish: medium length, spicy Not very complex but definitely better than expected for the price. Pretty smooth and easy to drink. More enjoyable than the white label.

Decent bourbon. Fairly smooth. Not top-shelf, but a little better than average. Some notes of caramel, a little smoke, slightly sweet.

Nose-A bit of a sour nose. Reminds me of the sour smell of lady bugs. Also some fruit notes. Ironically not unpleasant just different. Body- Has a surprisingly oaty, scotch like flavor. Sweet with raw peanuts and honeysuckle. Very floral and light for a bourbon. Finish- Sweet floral notes continue, like eating hibiscus. Some of that raw peanut sweetness is there as well. This bourbon has a very unusual flavor profile but I like it. A nice drink for the dough.
