Evan Williams Black Label

My go-to cheap bourbon. I prefer it over the slightly more expensive bottom-end Jack Daniels and Jim Beam expressions. Enjoyable straight, also works well in mint juleps, old fashioneds and the kitchen. It can even be pressed into service with a manhattan.

I picked up a bottle in my search for a guilt free daily drinker and I think I've found it. Tastes excellent neat, as I like it and is inexpensive enough to mix with soda if I'm in that type of mood. Spicy, not too sweet, smoky, enough wood flavor and has a pleasant burn. Will sit on my bar alongside Noah's mill, four roses single barrel, and bookers as my favorites.
