Reviewed June 8, 2024Nose - Light but very clean. Some bright sugary notes, bright crisp apples notes, some pepper and cinnamon combine nicely together, and some sweet tobacco kind of lingers as it opens up. Palate - Some salted peanuts is upfront, and i like it. Drinks big flavor for a light proof. Some light cinnamon vanilla spice compliments that saly peanut with some sweet spice. Finish - Pretty much a very lighter version of the palate. Light but enjoyable for a 86 proof bourbon. -

Reviewed March 18, 2024I’m generally unenthralled with Evan Williams’s Single Barrel line. This particular one is not bad and has background notes of raisins and dates, which I’ve never seen in Evan Williams before… but still for a single barrel, I was wishing for more. -

Reviewed November 12, 2023On the nose and palate, classic bourbon notes of oak, vanilla, and caramel. Medium finish of caramel and pepper. Not particularly complex, but solid. -

Reviewed July 22, 2023 (edited July 25, 2023)Bottle kill. Nose and palate: Honey, graham crackers, caramel, cherry, chocolate, baking spices and oak. Finish: Long and slightly peppery with all the notes of the nose and palate. Kinda average neat, but excelled as a mixer. Too bad you now have to buy at the distillery. 3.5 neat. 4.0 in whiskey sour or old fashioned.
