Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Have I had better bourbons? Sure. Have I had a better bourbon for this price ($22 for 1.75L)? Heck no. That’s why I’m rating it so highly - for the value. There’s really nothing to complain about. This stuff is dirt cheap but still complex enough to enjoy straight. The nose reminds me of peanuts, and the finish is sort of cakey, like a vanilla bread pudding or something. The flavor isn’t super unique or complex, but it’s a very satisfying, very typical bourbon. The higher proof will no doubt stand up to mixing, and the bourbon flavor won’t be lost.

I gave this bonus points for the price. Really good for a sub 20 dollar bottle. Sweet on the front with some spice at the end. Buy it. Daily drinker and cocktail maker.

I hate you Distiller. I’m not rewriting my entire review because your app sucks. Ugh! About Evan Williams BIB...... Definitely worth the $17 I spent on this bottle at Walmart liquors tonight! Okay I’m editing this in hopes it works this time..... So for the money this costs I’m blown away. Yea sure the taste doesn’t linger or stick around like a russels reserve or elijah Craig but it’s got flavor and I like it! I see friends who spend $150+ on bottles and I just don’t have that kind of disposable income so for a value bourbon, this is it.

I was pleasantly surprised from my first pour. Considering that this bottle (750ml) was 12 dollars and change, I was a little skeptical, however the tantalizing scent filling my nostrils had me intrigued, as to what this 100 proof could do. On the palate she wasn't bad either, I actually enjoyed sipping on this... The nose was filled with vanilla custard, brown sugar, and an overall good bourbon smell. The palate was a bit spicy but sweet, maybe black pepper, notes of vanilla, and caramel. Each sip was smooth considering the proof, however there was a considerable amount of heat. She was full flavored, and for the price, this is darn good choice if you can't get your hands on your creme de la creme.
