Rating: ~15-16/23 Bottle kill tasting here. Wow, what an improvement! It's way funkier than I remember, in a more mature way. It also comes across a richer and more balanced. This last sip was aerating in the bottle for over 6 months, so this is a ludicrous level of aeration though. Considering how much air this got and how little was left (~15 ml), I won't be formally rating it this time. Suffice it to say, I really enjoyed this. It's very peppery and herbal with a lot of sour mash funk. The complexity and balance are on point. With this amount of aeration, I'd probably be putting this up there with Russell's Reserve 10 (15-16; could be 14 or 17). The only problem is that the amount of air required is absurd. I'm fine with rating bottles with a caveat that you need to leave them open 80% full for 3 months, but this was down to the last 15 ml for at least 6! It's just not reasonable to ask anyone to do that.

Not much going on in the malt department and then the alcohol comes barreling in full speed. Not something I need to buy again.

Very smooth. Surprisingly good for the price.
