Ezra Brooks 90 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Tasting neat from a 2oz airplane bottle; Nose is full of wood with hints of nougat. Palate is rich with strong caramel and vanilla. Finish is soft with lots of smooth wood notes and slight cherry.

Rich flavor, thin, but pleasant mouthfeel. For the price, this is just fine! While it doesn't hold to older more developed whiskey, it doesn't feel too young to drink. Citrus, vanilla, nuttiness and some oak all combine like a vanilla nut bon bon in your mouth.

Bananas on the nose. Corn grain, funky finish

Good 'bottom shelf' bourbon. Similar to Evan Williams black label, but more proof and flavor. This might be the cheapest whiskey I can enjoy sipping.

Smokey and tart

Ezra Brooks would fool many people in a blind test. This is an incredibly priced whiskey that will work well as a mixer, straight up or on rocks. My regular go to.

Good bourbon. Not too of anything. Not too spicy, vanilla, long finish. When you want a break from the high rye content bourbon's, pick this one up. Great price in Virginia. Neat or a couple of ice cubes. Smooth.
