Ezra Brooks 90 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Not bad, especially for the price. Great that it is a 90 proof, which is harder to find in budget bourbons. Nose is faint with vanilla. Hot on the palate with some char and dark fruit, slight hint of burnt sugar. Heat rolls through a long finish, with char and sweetness.

Beginning to believe that this may be my go to bourbon. Not super expensive. Great taste. Moderate on the pallet. Not overpowering but easy to sip especially with a little H2O.

Not so sweet but a lot of oak, a little vanilla and plenty of fruity (black cherry?) notes. Intense and flavorful with a good finish. $20 for a handle about as good a value as can be had. Nice.
