Ezra Brooks 99 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Nose- latex paint Body- there is a chemical bite that is unpleasant, the paint flavor is there Finish- gets better here, sweet and buttery Not good.

This bourbon has a little bit of everything but not a lot of anything. Decent sweet vanilla and caramel flavors along with the oak flavors as well, but nothing exciting. It won’t stand up to Makers, Woodford, or Knob Creek, but it’s much more affordable. Works well for a higher proof mixer or everyday sipper like Evan Williams Bottled in Bond.

Smooth enough and very buttery aftertaste

Not bad for the price. Higher proof than normally at this $$.

Does have some good characteristics for a young bourbon. Decent nose and pretty good flavor on the mid palate with a medium long finish.
