Ezra Brooks 99 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon

This bourbon is underrated in my opinion. Lots to taste here in an inexpensive bottle. Drinks easy. This punches way above its weight.

Closed, walnuts & peanut shells, some leather Pal; m odg, smooth, sweet creamy & vanilla, leather again, a bit hot alcohol

Malty and chocolaty, very off profile for MGP

Erza Brooks 99 proof is better than the original 90 proof Erza Brooks. Rich aromas of pipe tobacco, molasses, caramel, baking spices, and charred oak greet the nose. The spicy entry features flavors of charred oak, baking spices, and hot ginger. The finish is reminiscent of pipe tobacco, sandalwood, vanilla pudding, and black pepper.

A sharp finish but nice smoky notes blend well with classic bourbon flavour. Can be smoothed with a drop of water.
