This is the 3rd release in Fortaleza's annual Winter Blend series, which explores reposado cask finishes. Fortaleza's 100% Blue Weber agave, tahona-crushed tequila is double-distilled in a small copper pot still. It is aged 6 months in American oak and 10 months in French oak 200L barrels that once held Marsala wine.
It is bottled at cask strength 92.6 proof, with 10,500 bottles available as of November, 2021. .

Tasting Notes
"Sharp spices and a blast of citrus tickle the nose. The palate fans out to spicy notes of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and black pepper mixed with rich vanilla, grapefruit zest, cocoa, thyme and rosemary. A faint flavor of red bell pepper adds a fruity kick to this tequila, which has a long, warming finish that has a bit of zesty brightness filtering through the richness. "
