Forty Spotted Rare Tasmanian Gin is made by Lark Distillery. It is made in a London dry style using botanicals such as juniper, coriander, and lemon peel.
In addition, Tasmanian mountain pepper berry is used. Named for the rare Tasmanian bird forty-spotted pardalote which resides in the southeast corner of the island.

"This gin is pretty floral and slightly perfumed, think lavender and violet, followed by a whiff of sweet orange, berries and juniper. The palate is spicy, with soft juniper notes. Overall it's pretty clean, but it would've benefited from a little more balance. "
