Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon

Small bite lingers, not bad

On the nose there is a light floral honey note and the palate is just the same. The finish is quick and the mouth feel is very thin. There is no oak or spice to worry about and its not that complex. If you are a bourbon nut Id pass on this and pick up the higher proof or barrel offerings from Four Roses. This is just a typical mixer shooter type of bourbon

Overall my option is a solid mixer and not a lot more. It was one I can vaguely remember, that is why I think it’s usually not on the top of anyones list. Not bad but not great, makes a good whiskey & ginger ale or whisky and coke.

Great value bourbon. Floral, honey, fruity nose. Smooth with a nice long finish.

I like this bourbon a lot. Smooth and slightly sweet.no harsh aftertaste. Easy to drink straight and would definitely be a cost effective mixer.
