Freeland Spirits Gin
Freeland Spirits Gin is made in Portland, Oregon with two different distillation processes--traditional heat distillation in a pot still and vacuum distillation. The latter method allows fresh ingredients of rosemary, mint, cucumber, thyme and a secret ingredient to be incorporated.
Fourteen dried botanicals are used in the traditional method with juniper, pink peppercorn, coriander, star anise, and grapefruit & lemon peel featured. Bottled at 90 proof.

Tasting Notes
"This is a refreshingly straight-forward tasting gin despite the many botanicals in the mix. It's spicy and juniper-forward without feeling too heavily so, with strong presence of citrus peel (grapefruit, lemon and lime) and peppery heat that finishes with a slight sweetness. There's a slight acetone burn at the end, but not enough of one to cause problems in mixability. This is a solid Martini or Negroni gin with a nice punch to it. "
