Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack

Such a sweet, sweet whiskey. Obviously, the double mellowing works really well, because I am not a fan of the old 7, but I like this one. The nose is like your homemade mommy desert, but with much, much brown sugar, baking spices, banana and a touch of coconut. On the palate it repeats the nose, although you can now feel the baking spices more with a little peppery finish. The brown sugar remains strong though. Perfect for deserts and meat with sweet, mustard marinate.

Banana bread from the nose to the finish. Sweet. Its not a bad thing though. Sort of a one note flavor profile that is very good. Turns up the JD sweet woody banana flavor all the way up. Haven’t had it in a while but will likely revisit just based on price/availability/quality.

Taste: The flavor is dominated by honey graham crackers. There is also banana and vanilla. The finish is slightly astringent. Look: Deep golden Smell: Vanilla and honey grahams
